Sausage and Vegetable Skillet
Ingredients
- 4 sausages (e.g., pork, chicken, or turkey), sliced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small zucchini, sliced
- 1/2 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, pepper, and spices of choice to taste
- Optional: grated cheese for topping
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced sausages to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, zucchini, onion, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the sausages to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
- Season with salt, pepper, and spices of your choice.
- If desired, sprinkle grated cheese on top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
- Remove from heat and serve.
