Bacon and Cheese Frittata
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In an oven-safe skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the bacon grease. Sprinkle the shredded cheese and cooked bacon over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is set and slightly golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chives if desired.
